(Waterbury, Conn./WTIC) - Waterbury police are on the lookout for those responsible for damage to a city park on Wednesday.
Officers were called a little after 1:00 p.m. on a report that riders on a pair of ATV quads and one dirt bike were tearing up the lawn at Library Park on Grant Street.
The riders had fled by the time police arrived on scene.
Damage to the field and tire marks on the sidewalk were discovered.
The vandals were last spotted on Bank Street headed south.
There's no word on any dollar amount to the damage.
