BT rips Aaron Boone's 'pathetic' support of Yankee offense after 18 strikeouts

Aaron Boone told reporters on Sunday that, outside of the team’s 18 strikeouts, that he was proud of how his lineup battled against Dean Kremer and the Orioles in their lopsided loss in Sunday’s series finale.

For BT, that was the last straw.

“Aaron Boone’ gotta go as well,” BT said. “That’s the first time I’ve really said that. It’s over for him as well. The most pathetic quote in the last 20-30 year history of New York sports.

“This is not some drunk fan. This is the manager of the Yankees.”

Boone has typically kept an aura of optimism, especially when speaking publicly about his group, but after tying a franchise record for strikeouts in a nine-inning game, and boasting one of the worst offenses in baseball, BT needs to see more accountability.

“The Yankees struck out 18 times on national TV, and you have the gumption, with that payroll, to look into a camera and a hot microphone, and feed us that??” BT said. “That is the official drop point for me with Aaron Boone.

“I actually think he’s done a decent job…I think, for the most part, with a myriad of injuries, he’s navigated his Yankee run well, and he’s run a lot of games. But this is it. The Yankees need a new voice. That is utterly pathetic, it is sad, it is accepting of their losing ways.”
