6 rings & football things: New kickoff rules, J.J. McCarthy buzz, and what should the Patriots do at pick No. 3?!

The Patriots have all hands on deck at the LSU Pro Day in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, and are reportedly set for a "lengthy" meeting with the Tigers' Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback in Jayden Daniels following his workout.

But Daniels isn't the only prospect on their radar.

According to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe, New England's brass met with wide receiver Malik Nabers on Tuesday night.

Nabers is a consensus top-10 pick in this year's draft and was a unanimous All-American and First-team All-SEC in 2023. He hauled in 89 receptions for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns this past season. The 20-year-old is LSU's all-time leading receiver with 3,003 career yards.

Like his quarterback in Daniels, Nabers didn't participate in measurements (height, weight, hand size, etc.) at the NFL Combine in February -- opting to do so at their Pro Day. Listed at 6-foot-0, 200 pounds by LSU, we'll wait and see if Nabers' size changes on Wednesday.
