- The Patriots 2021 schedule release rumors are coming in fast and furious. And this latest one is a juicy rival game that could have major division ramifications.
According to the SB Nation blog Buffalo Rumblings, the Patriots will once again take on the Bills on a Monday night in December, only this time it’ll be in Orchard Park on Dec. 6.
This game could be significant, the Patriots visiting the division champion Bills (not a typo, still looks weird) late in the season, in prime time. The game would cap off Week 13 of a now seventeen game/eighteen week schedule, where perhaps control of the expected to be super competitive AFC East could be at stake. Just imagine the tailgate! I can already smell the wings and beef on weck. The broken table and empty Fireball handle count could be through the roof.
Last December the Bills visited the Patriots on a Monday night and absolutely destroyed them on national TV, 38-9. Suffice to say the Bills will be looking to show it was no fluke, while the retooled Pats will be out for measures of respect and revenge. - Nick 'Fitzy' Stevens
