There have been rumblings of the Giants and Bears making contact about a trade for the No. 1 pick, and C-Mac says Big Blue needs to be all in on that trade, no matter what it takes.
“I can’t say this any more clearer. If I were the Gants, I would trade up and draft a quarterback, and I would trade [Caleb] Williams,” C-Mac said. “Could he be a bust? Of course he could…but he is the guy of this draft. It’s been that way for 2-3 years. That’s the kind of quarterback I want.
“So yes, I would trade anything. I would give two first-round picks as well as the swap. I would just do it.”
Even if it takes multiple first-round picks, C-Mac wouldn’t hesitate to find the Giants’ replacement for Daniel Jones by taking the most hyped quarterback in the draft.
“The Rams, with [Jared] Goff this year, didn’t have a first-round pick, and they won a Super Bowl trading for Matthew Stafford,” C-Mac said. “You can live without first-round picks. You need the quarterback.”
