Evan Engram potentially upped his trade value on Monday night, hauling in a touchdown catch early in the fourth quarter to put the Giants ahead over the Chiefs.
But New York reportedly plans to keep the tight end around through Tuesday’s trade deadline.

According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, Big Blue does not plan to deal Engram before the deadline, even after Monday night’s loss dropped the team to 2-6 on the season, and further out of the playoff race. The Giants’ offense has been decimated by injury this season, which led many to expect the team would sell to gain assets in what has become a lost season, but Engram doesn’t appear to be one of those available pieces.
Engram, a Pro Bowl selection last season, would free up more than $3 million in cap space if he was dealt. He is also a free agent at the end of the season, but the Giants are reportedly electing to keep him around.
Engram has 23 catches for 186 yards, and Monday’s touchdown, on the season.
