The Giants are getting ready to host free agent wide receiver Kenny Golladay on Thursday, and they’ve already locked up another offensive weapon.

New York has agreed to a deal with two-time Pro Bowl tight end Kyle Rudolph according to multiple reports, including an Instagram post by his agency announcing the deal, which has since been deleted.

The agents announced the deal at two years and $16 million, but Mike Garafolo reports the contract is actually worth $14 million.

Rudolph was released by the Vikings earlier this month in an effort to free up cap space, ending a 10-year run in Minnesota. The 31-year-old has hauled in a career 453 receptions, good for 4,488 yards and 48 touchdowns. Those 48 scores are the most by a tight end in Vikings history.

Rudolph was a Pro Bowler in 2012 and 2017, with the former including the game’s MVP award, and has made six career postseason starts.

Rudolph, normally very durable and dependable, started the first 12 games of last season before missing the last four with a foot injury. He ended the season with 28 catches for 334 yards and one touchdown.

Rudolph, a Notre Dame product and a former second round pick, joins Evan Engram as the Giants top two tight ends heading into next season.
