Bears safety Jaquan Brisker ripped Daniel Jones’ new contract on Tuesday, calling the Giants quarterback “trash” while wondering why Jones got a big deal and Lamar Jackson got the franchise tag.

Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill joined in on the trolling after Darius Slayton came to Jones’ defense on Twitter.

After Slayton posted a screenshot of the final score from Big Blue’s win over Brisker’s Bears last season, Hill replied to Slayton with the tweet, “Yeah the slant route gone be crazy next year,” along with a few laughing emojis. It certainly seemed to be a dig at Jones for not being able to throw the deep ball, and relying on short routes to generate offense through the passing game.

Jones’ contract, particularly the dollar amount at $160 million, has been criticized by many fans given Jones’ production at this point in his career, but multiple NFL players joining in seems like a surprise.
