Everything was clicking on Sunday for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but there was one moment that was rather odd from head coach Bruce Arians.
At one point early in the third quarter, with the Bucs only leading 17-0, the Eagles muffed a punt, giving the ball back to the Bucs.
For some reason, in the aftermath of the play, Arians ran onto the field and open-handed smacked safety Andrew Adams in the side of the head and shoved him out of the way with an elbow.
FOX color commentator Troy Aikman originally thought Arians was excited about the turnover before sounding a little unsure about what exactly the Bucs coach was trying to do.
Some on Twitter speculated he was trying to stop Adams from possibly drawing a flag after the play. A later replayed showed Adams was pulling on the leg of an Eagles player.
But many were taken aback and also critical of Arians smacking Adams like that.

People will laugh at Bruce Arians for this because the Bucs are beating the Eagles by a mile, but coaches shouldn’t hit players under any circumstance https://t.co/T7dsqiRJfs
