Jeff in Rockaway called in with a very emotional, and drawn out, argument for why the Jets coaching staff, mainly Nathaniel Hackett, ruined Zach Wilson as he did other quarterbacks like Russell Wilson.
But even as he went on with his passionate point, C-Mac began to poke holes in the argument.
“He’s one of the worst rated quarterbacks in the history of the NFL, and that was before Hackett,” C-Mac said of the Jets former No. 2 overall pick. “That was LaFleur. I guess he’s the problem too. It’s always someone else.
“When Hackett came to the Packers, Rodgers played the best two years of his career over the last five years, but I that’s because of some ability to change plays. OK. How was Blake Bortles the rest of his career? He took him to the AFC Championship game.”
Jeff didn’t want to hear it, simply stating that he was hanging up, and that was that. But it still made for five very entertaining minutes of talk radio.
