Craiggy barged into the Built Ford Tough Boomer & Gio Studio on Tuesday morning near the end of the 8 a.m. hour…and he had a little news for his old buddy Booms: his missing 1994 Pro Bowl jersey has been found!

Cue the sappy music, but Craig read a letter from a woman whose father was an airline baggage handler for years, and was working at JFK the day Boomer’s flight landed from the Pro Bowl in Honolulu. As the story goes, apparently, the man stole Booms’ jersey out of his luggage, and had it for nearly a quarter-century before he passed away, and the family decided it was time to return it to Boomer.

Apparently, the family reached out to the morning show in June 2018 but the story was met with skepticism – but nearly four years later, it was Craig Harris Carton who finally returned the jersey to his good friend Norman Julius Esiason.

The problem? Boomer had no real idea the jersey was missing…and he didn’t even want it, even as Craig decided to start the bidding at $100! It was confirmed by Boomer to be his – even though it had No. 8, because John Elway wore No. 7 that year, it was indeed the “cheap-ass jersey from back then.”

What will become of Boomer’s ’94 Pro Bowl duds? Well, Craig did decide to re-decorate the Carton & Roberts studio later in the day, so perhaps it can go with the WFAN football helmet?
