Sal isn’t a believer in Brock Purdy as a top-tier quarterback, while BT believes he is on his way to cementing himself as one of the best.
So much so, that BT says he would take Purdy over Aaron Rodgers at this point in their careers.
“I’d rather have Purdy at this point,” BT said. “Aaron Rodgers is done! I hope he comes back and does something, but Jesus, the guy hasn’t done anything for us!”
Sal couldn’t believe it.
“If Aaron Rodgers were on the Niners right now, they’d be blowing people out,” Sal said. “Come on.”
BT says the timing is important, and while Rodgers is one of the best ever, he is now 40 years old coming off major surgery, while Purdy is 5-1 in the playoffs and getting ready to play in a Super Bowl.
“Not if he was limping around,” BT said of Rodgers in response to Sal.
