LYON TWP. (WWJ) - A woman had to extricated from her vehicle after it rolled over, Tuesday morning, in Oakland County's Lyon Township.
This was a single-car crash along Pontiac Trail near Butterfield Lane, north of I-96 and east of Milford Road, according to officials with the Lyon Township Fire Department.
Emergency crews arrived on the scene to find a car rolled over with the driver trapped inside. The LTFD used air-bags to lift the car off the ground, allowing enough room to safely remove the woman from the vehicle.
Luckily, the driver sustained only minor injuries. She was transported by Huron Valley Ambulance to a local hospital.
"Remember, seatbelts save lives, esp. in today's accident!" LTFD said, sharing photos from the scene on Facebook.
It's unclear what led to the crash. No further details were released.
