DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are searching for an armed suspect who killed a teenager in a double shooting on the city's east side.
The shooting happened just after 4 p.m. Friday near Connor and Christy streets, not far from Gratiot Avenue and Outer Drive.
Police say a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were found with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital where the teen died and the man was last reported in critical condition.
Circumstances surrounding the shooting aren't clear at this time.
The suspect remains at large.
An investigation is ongoing.
