(WWJ) A 17-year-old boy is dead after a large fight broke out at a graduation party at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Taylor over the weekend.
Police say the brawl, which involved a possible stabbing, sent four people to the hospital, including the teen who died from his injuries.
The fight broke out shortly before 11 p.m. while the hall in the 24900 block of Brest Road was being rented.
Taylor police announced Monday they have made two arrests in this case, and have also conducted a search warrant in the city of Southgate.
A warrant request will be submitted to the Wayne County Prosecutors in the next day.
"The Taylor Police Department would like to thank the efforts and cooperation they have received from the Southgate Police Department as well as the Michigan State Police," the department said in a press release.
