(WWJ) Motown legend Diana Ross tweeted up a storm Sunday with a claim that a TSA agent violated her during an airport screening in New Orleans after JazzFest.

Fans rushed to her defense after Ross said a female agent felt between her legs and treated her "like sh**."

Ross claimed the incident made her want to cry.

A twitter user named Andre 1978 wrote, "You are a testament of love in every way. I feel you are a spiritual person. All people like you, carrying such light will be fought because they are mirrors to those who have chosen the darkness. But carrying on like you do, you will only shine brighter. Thank you for all."

Eventually, Ross said she had overcome her emotions and was feeling better.

TSA spokesman Mark Howell said in a statement to The Associated Press that the agency is still investigating, but an initial review of video of the screening indicates that officers correctly followed all protocols.

Howell says the agency is committed to treating all travelers with respect and courtesy.
