(WWJ) A man was killed in a freak accident at a Sumpter Township landfill.
Police confirm a man hauling trash to Carleton Farms landfill on Clark Road was crushed to death by his own vehicle Friday morning. The details are sketchy at this point-- but multiple reports say the victim was killed when a piece of heavy machinery caused the truck to shift.
The victim was in his thirties. Police are investigating.
