(WWJ) Oakland County Sheriff deputies were called to a home on Gingell Court in Pontiac early on Memorial Day when the grandmother of a five-month old girl saw blood coming from the child's nose and noticed she wasn't breathing.
But luckily, her story doesn't end there. The girl was rushed to McLaren-Oakland Hospital where emergency room workers were able to bring her back to life, working over her until they detected a pulse and a heart beat.
After the infant was revived, she was transferred to Children's Hospital, where she remains on a ventilator.
The baby's father, who was sleeping with the girl, told first responders he was unaware of what had occurred. The infant's mother was found asleep on the living room floor.
The investigation continues into what caused the girl's health condition
