She's written a best-selling book, garnered millions of social media fans and barnstormed across the country with or without her husband for speaking engagements ... And now Michelle Obama is coming to Detroit.
Obama is hosting a rally March 27 in Detroit to support the group When We All Vote, which encourages voter participation. The event will be held at Calihan Hall at the University of Detroit Mercy. Doors open at 4 p.m.
The event is free, but it's only open to a select group of volunteers, local high schoolers eligible to vote, leaders in the My School Votes program and 2020 Prom Challenge, college students, and educators. Tickets will be required.
Bummed that you're not on the list? Don't be. The organization behind her visit created a contest to let some lucky winners get tickets, plus face time with Michelle Obama.
