REDFORD, Mich. (WWJ) -- Redford police a missing 16-year-old girl who ran away from her grandmother's home has been found.
Authorities said Correanna Turek-Cogswell was found Sunday evening after she went missing Saturday morning from her grandmother's house on Pomona Drive/
Her stepmother, Trish McKenzie, told WWJ her stepdaughter suffers from depression and has been in and out of the hospital, which made her running away all the more concerning.
"My biggest fear, obviously, is that she could be in the wrong hands and people that don't care about her," McKenzie told WWJ "I want her home safe and with her having medication that she's supposed to be on for her depression, that concerns me."
It is not clear where or how the teenager was found.
