(WWJ) A woman is hospitalized with serious injuries after crashing her motorcycle on the Southfield Freeway.
Michigan State Police say she was riding southbound near 8 Mile around 2:30 a.m. Monday when she lost control of the motorcycle and struck the left wall.
She was separated from the bike -- which continued down the freeway for quite some distance, coming to rest on the right shoulder.
Police say she was wearing a helmet, and was taken to a local hospital with multiple fractures and a head injury.
