SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Southfield police are turning to the public for help identifying a young man wanted in connection with a shooting.
The shooting took place around 1:45 p.m. Monday at the Advanced Office Building at the corner of Greenfield and 9 Mile roads.
The victim and other witnesses tell police the suspect removed a handgun from his pocket and shot at the victim, firing a single round. The victim was struck, though his current condition is unknown.
Other circumstances surrounding the shooting weren't immediately clear.
The suspect is described as a black male, 19- to 25-years-old and approximately 5'11" to 6'0" tall, wearing black Air Jordan tennis shoes, black Adidas pants with a white stripe on the side of both legs and a jacket with a camouflage type design.
