CHESTERFIELD TWP. (WWJ) - Authorities are looking for tips after a historic log cabin was broken into in Chesterfield Township.
According to the Chesterfield Township Police Department, between December 7, 2018, and March 17 of this year, someone vandalized the cabin, located at 47275 Sugarbush, in the area of I-94 and 21 Mile Road, north of the Chesterfield Township Offices.
The suspect also and stole several items, according to police, including a replica 45 caliber Hawkins rifle and an antique violin.
Police on posted photos of the missing items to social media, hoping that someone the public has seen them or has information about the person or people responsible for this crimes.
