How You Can Get $10 Tickets For 'Hamilton' In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Fans of the Broadway musical "Hamilton" now have the chance to see it for just $10 when the show comes to Detroit's Fisher Theatre March 12-April 21.

The show's producer, Jeffery Seller, and Broadway in Detroit announced Wednesday a digital lottery for "Hamilton" tickets will be available for every show during its stint in Detroit.


Here's what you need to know about entering the digital lottery:

  • 40 tickets will be available at just $10 apiece for each show.
  • The lottery will open at 11 a.m. ET two days before each show and close at 9 a.m. the next day.
  • Winners will be notified around 11 a.m. the day before the performance
  • Winners are eligible to purchase up to two $10 tickets for that show.
    • Tickets must be purchased by 4 p.m. the day prior to the show.
  • Lottery tickets can be picked up at will call beginning two hours prior to the performance with a valid photo ID.

Those hoping to get tickets can enter the lottery through the "Hamilton" app or on the show's website.

Tickets on the secondary market are going for more than $1,000 on opening night, while the cheapest are more than $200.
