ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Living with chronic pain is no easy task. But you can still find ways to live a meaningful life.
Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak is hosting an interactive panel discussion featuring pain management experts and current patients who are living meaningful lives with chronic pain.
At the workshop, which takes place Thursday night, you'll be able to hear from actual patients who have lived with chronic pain for years. These patients participated in Beaumont's pain program and learned to cope more effectively and find meaning despite their pain.

- Information on the science of pain and how you can self-manage your symptoms and challenges
- Information on pain management techniques, including physical and occupational therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy and yoga therapy
- An opportunity to set personal pain management goals and apply what you learn
