DETROIT (WWJ) -- Kid Rock is selling his riverfront home on Detroit's east side.
The Colonial, built in 1930, was recently listed on Realtor.com for $2.2 million. It is located at 9090 Dwight Street, just off Jefferson Avenue and east of downtown Detroit. The home is near the Erma Henderson Marina and across the river from the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle.
The Detroit-area native musician bought the home in 2012. The home's former owners in the 1960s reportedly hosted parties with Motown artists and executives.
The 6,000-square-foot gated home boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a large backyard and patio and a custom boathouse with a party deck on top.
