(WWJ) A Macomb County man says he threw his phone across the room after winning $60,000 playing an instant lottery game online.
"I logged into my account and started playing the Queen of Diamonds game," said 36-year-old Josiph Stamevski, of Macomb. "When the message: 'Big Win $60,000' popped up I threw my phone across the room. "
"I had to log off and back on to check my account balance and make sure it was real. Once I knew it was real, I went and told my fiancée: 'I'm buying you a new car tomorrow!'"

Michigan Lottery officials say Stamevski recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize. With his winnings, he bought a new car for his fiancée and plans to invest the remainder.
"It feels great to win! I still can't believe it's real," Stamevski said.
Michigan Lottery players have a chance to win up to $500,000 instantly playing online. Players also may win prizes ranging from $1 up to multimillion-dollar jackpots playing Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto 47, and Fantasy 5 online. Through its online platform, the Lottery offers players more than 50 different games with plays ranging in price from 5 cents to $20.
More than 1 million players have registered to play the Lottery's online games, which were launched in 2014. In 2018, Lottery players won more than $676 million playing games online.
Less than a month ago, a 51-year-old Kent County, Michigan won $100,000 playing the Michigan Lottery's Lucky 7 x 7 instant game.
