GRAND BLANC TWP. (WWJ) - A Flint-area man has died after he was pinned under a slab of concrete.
Grand Blanc Township police say the 67-year-old man was working on a porch Tuesday morning and was trying to remove the concrete from a hole when it fell on him.
A police officer and others nearby jumped in the hole and got the concrete off the man. He was taken to Ascension Genesys Hospital but died a short time later.
The death remains under investigation, but police say it was a tragic accident.
The man's name wasn't released.
