DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have many unanswered questions after a man was shot in the face on the city's west side.
Officers were called to a home on Monte Vista Street, near Meyers and 7 Mile roads, around 3 a.m. Wednesday and found the 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was rushed to a hospital and sent to surgery, so investigators weren't able to talk with him to get any information about what led up to the shooting. He was last reported in critical condition.
At this time, it's unknown who fired the shot.
An investigation is ongoing.
