DETROIT (WWJ) - A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital after crashing just after a construction zone along I-94 on Detroit's east side.
The crash happened during the thick of the morning commute Friday along eastbound I-94 between the French Road and Conner Street overpasses, just past Gratiot Avenue.

Traffic passing by the scene was reduced to one lane while police were investigating, but has since returned to normal.
