DETROIT (WWJ) - A motorcyclist is dead after an overnight crash along I-96 on Detroit's west side.
The crash happened around 11p.m. Thursday in the local lanes at Greenfield Road.
Police say the 48-year-old man lost control of his Harley Davison and was thrown from the bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
The freeway was closed for about four hours for the police investigation, but has since reopened to traffic.
