(WWJ) Two Detroit men have been charged in the shooting of three men at a west side gas station.

The alleged gunman, 20-year-old Damario Lamar Jackson, and the man who was with him at the scene, 38-year-old Derrick Lamarr Jackson, face a combined 18 felonies.

Officials say the two man are not blood related.

Jackson and Jackson

According to Detroit police, Jackson and Jackson were at the BP on W. 7 Mile Road near Telegraph Road, at around 6 p.m. on July 21, when an argument broke out between the pair and three men — ages 20, 24 and 26 — who were sitting in a silver Ford Fusion.

At some point, police allege that Damario Jackson pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots into the victims’ vehicle, striking all three of them, police said.

Two of the victims were treated and released from a local hospital, while the third remained in the hospital this week.

After the shooting, which was caught on video, both suspects got into silver Kia mini van and fled the area.

Derrick Jackson, who police say was driving the van, turned himself in to police the next day after seeing his photo on TV.
