3 Wanted For Stealing Tips Jars From Leo's Coney Island In Roseville [VIDEO]

(WWJ) Roseville police are asking for tips from the public to identify a trio of thieves caught on camera. 

According to investigators, three female suspects conspired together to steal a couple of staff tip jars from the Leo's Coney Island on Gratiot Ave., south of 14 Mile Rd., last weekend.


Police said the three walked into the restaurant at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, and placed an order. 

While waiting for their food near the front counter, police say two of the suspect each stole a jar containing tips left by customers for the Leo's staff. The third suspect then held the door open for the two who were carrying the jars, and all three got into a car and left the area. 

Police said the stolen tips totaled around $175.

Investigators are searching for the following suspects:

  • Suspect #1 is described as n African American female around 18 years old, 5'5" tall and 130 lbs. with long braided hair. She was wearing a camouflage Pink brand shirt
  • Suspect #2 is described as an African American female, around 18 years old, 5'3" tall and 115 lbs. with long black hair. She was wearing a gray sweater.
  • Suspect #3 is described as an African American female around 30 years old, 5'4" tall and 140 lbs. with long black hair. She was wearing a black sweater with a white hood.

The trio drove away in a silver colored sedan, unknown model, with a blue driver's side front fender.
