DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police say an 84-year-old woman reported missing on the city's east side has been found safe.
Almost four hours after issuing a missing persons alert for Mary Bullock Friday morning, police said she was found safe and is doing fine. No further details on her recovery were provided.
Bullock was reported missing by her grandson, who last heard from her around 5:13 p.m. Thursday during a phone call. He told police he later stopped by Bullock's house in the 1200 block of Canton, near Lafayette Street and E. Grand Boulevard, around 7:30 p.m. and she was gone.
