DETROIT (WWJ) - Police in Detroit are asking for help locating a missing 91-year-old man with dementia.
Hakim Aleem was last seen around along Manor Street, near 7 Mile and Outer Drive on the west side, by his daughter around 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Aleem, who has gone missing before in the past, left the location and has not returned. Family members are concerned for his safety because he has dementia.
Aleem is described as a black male with a medium brown complexion, about 5'7" tall, 145 pounds and bald with a gray beard. He was last seen wearing gray jeans.
Anyone who has seen Aleem or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Detroit police at 313-596-1240 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
