ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - Child porn charges have been filed against a Roseville man following a nearly two year investigation.
The Michigan Attorney General's office says 23-year-old Alishan Harden faces five counts of possession of child sexually abusive materials, two counts of producing and distributing child porn, and one count of using a computer to commit a crime.
In early 2018, officials received a tip that child porn was being distributed from an IP address located in Roseville. A search warrant was obtained to trace back the IP address, which came back to a residence where Harden lived. A second search warrant was executed on the residence to obtain a laptop, during which investigators say Harden admitted to using the family laptop on a regular basis to download and share child porn.
At this time, Harden is being held on a $15,000 bond. He's due in court for a probable cause conference on Nov. 20 and a preliminary exam on Nov. 27.
