(WWJ) The Oakland County Sheriff's Office says a deadly weekend crash in Brandon Township may have involved drugged driving.
According to OCOS investigators, 30-year-old Felicia Rowland of Ortonville was driving a Chevrolet Express Van southbound on Ortonville Road near Wiedemann, at around 10 a.m Saturday, when she crossed the center line.
That's when the van swiped a Chevy Silverado pickup truck towing a trailer filled with dirt, the sheriff's office said, then collided with the trailer.
Rowland was thrown from the van and died at the scene. A passenger, identified as 36-year-old Michael Boose of of Groveland Twp., was partially ejected and also died, according to sheriff's officials.
Two people in the Silverado, a 32-year-old Davisburg man and a 19-year-old Clarkston man, were not injured.
The sheriff's office says drug use is believed to be a factor in the crash as the investigation continues.
