DETROIT (WWJ) - A billboard in Detroit is encouraging residents to get out and vote next month. The problem is, it's telling voters to go to the polls on the wrong day.
The message along I-75 in Southwest Detroit is to "VOTE" on Tuesday November 6. But Election Day this year is actually November 5.
The organization responsible for the billboard says it's left over from last year's election, which was on Nov. 6. The message was uncovered when a newer ad was taken down recently.
Requests have been made to take the ad down.
