DEARBORN, Mich. (WWJ) -- An investigation continues after a 62-year-old Wayne County man was found dead in Dearborn Wednesday morning.

Dearborn police were called to the area of Schaefer and Rotunda around 8 a.m. Wednesday -- reportedly near the Ford Motor Co. Schaefer parking lot -- on the report of a man down in the grass next to the roadway.

Dearborn Fire Rescue personnel declared the man dead at the scene. He has been identified as a 62-year-old from Brownstown, but his name is being withheld, pending family notification, Dearborn police said.

Police say an investigation showed no obvious signs of foul play. The Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office took custody of the man's body and are investigating the cause of death.

"Our condolences go out to the family of the deceased and we will continue investigating this incident until a determination is made as to the cause of death." Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in a statement.
