DETROIT (WWJ) - Police say a child in Detroit was injured when a gunman opened fire into their home.
The incident happened around 11:45 p.m. Monday in the 20000 block of Biltmore Street, in a west side neighborhood off the Southfield Freeway and Pembroke Avenue.
According to police, an unknown suspect allegedly fired shots into a home, grazing a juvenile that was inside.
The child, whose age was not released, was transported to the hospital and last listed in stable condition.
Police are still investigating. No suspects have been identified at this time.
