(WWJ) With the warmer weather and people spending more time in their yards, it may be tempting to leave your garage doors open.
But Ferndale police say don't do it — even in the daytime.
The message comes as police said numerous daytime thefts from open garages have been reported in the Oakland County community in recent days. Lawn equipment and bikes were stolen, according to investigators.
Ferndale police on Thursday released a photo of a suspect in the thefts, who was caught on a resident's home security camera. Tips are wanted to identify him.
