Police Searching For Man Wanted In Triple Shooting At Detroit Gas Station [VIDEO]

(WWJ) Police are asking for help to find a man wanted for shooting three people at a gas station on Detroit's northwest side.

Damario Lamar Jackson, 20, is described as a Black male with dark complexion, thin build, a short braided dreadlock hair style.

He was shirtless at the time of the alleged crime, wearing blue jeans, a white belt, and dark shoes. He was armed with a handgun, according to police.

Investigators say Jackson was with a second suspect at the BP on W. 7 Mile Road near Telegraph Road, at around 6 p.m. Tuesday, when an argument broke out between the pair and three men — ages 20, 24 and 26 — who were sitting in a silver Ford Fusion.

At some point, police allege that Jackson pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots into the victims' vehicle, striking all three of them, police said.

Two of the victims were treated and released from a local hospital, while the third remains hospitalized in serious condition.

After the shooting, both suspects got into silver Kia mini van and fled the area.

The incident was caught on video.

The driver of the Kia, a 37-year-old man, turned himself in to the DPD's 6th Precinct the next morning, after seeing his photo on TV.

The man is being held at the Detroit Detention Center, while Jackson remained at large late on Friday. Police said expected charges against both suspects are pending.

Anyone who seens Jackson or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call Detroit Police Department's Eighth Precinct Investigative Unit at 313-596-5840 or 911. To remain anonymous, call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-800-Speak Up (1-800-773-2587).
