NEWPORT, Mich. (WWJ) - A Monroe County mother and her one-year-old daughter have been found safe.
Police said early Thursday morning that 21-year-old Kyrsten Hayslip and her daughter Aubree were last seen around 6 p.m. Sunday leaving their home in the Frenchtown Villa Mobile Home Park, on Telegraph Road south of I-275 in Newport.
Hayslip's family says she left in a gray car, allegedly an Uber, to go to a friend's house to babysit overnight and said she would be back on Monday. The pair never returned home and they haven't been seen or heard from since.
Michigan State Police announced late Thursday night that Hayslip and her daughter were home safe, but did not say where they had been.
