DETROIT (WWJ) -- A cold case nearly two decades old has finally been solved, according to Michigan State Police.
MSP detectives recently began reviewing a cold case homicide that happened during a home invasion back in November 2002 and recently caught a break in the case.
Police were able to identify two suspects and on Friday, one of them was located and arrested by the MSP Fugitive Team.
Frank Crumsey Harris, a 44-year-old man from Detroit, was transported to the Metro North Post for to be interviewed and he was later lodged at the Detroit Detention Center.
The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office has charged Harris with first degree murder, felony firearm, felon in possession and habitual second charges, according to Michigan State Police. He was arraigned on Sunday in 34th District Court in Romulus and denied bond.
Authorities have not released many details about the homicide 18 years ago, but did say the second suspect has also been identified and could be facing charges as well.
Harris is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary exam on March 12.
