HARTLAND, Mich. (WWJ) -- A youth baseball coach in Livingston County has been charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct as well as furnishing alcohol to minors.
Livingston County authorities allege 49-year-old Joseph Frappier of Harland Township sexually assaulted two minors, who reportedly played on his youth baseball team, at his home in Hartland on multiple occasions between 2015 and 2019, according to reports.
Prosecutors allege Frappier invited at least two players to his house to drink alcohol, vape and have sex. The ages of the minors were not made clear.
Last week, Frappier pleaded not guilty to one count each of first-degree and third degree criminal sexual conduct, as well as two counts of second-degree CSC, four counts of fourth-degree CSC. He was also charged with one count each of assault with intent to commit sexual penetration and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Frappier is expected to be back in court Dec. 12. Frappier will remain in jail after being unable to post a $500,000 cash surety bond.
Authorities believe there could be other young boys who were victimized. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Livingston County Sheriff's Department.
