DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man they say fired multiple rounds in a non-fatal shooting on the city's west side earlier this month.
Police say around 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, the suspect was involved in a shooting in the middle of the street in the area of Joy Road and Piedmont Street, west of the Southfield Freeway. Police said no one was injured during the incident.
Authorities released surveillance video of the man, seen inside a convenience store or gas station near the area of the incident. Police describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 17 to 25 years old, with a slim build and medium brown complexion, with short dreads below the ear. He was last seen wearing a red zippered jacket with white stripes down the front, jeans and red shoes.
