
(WWJ) A manhunt is underway for a suspect accused of killing four people in Sumpter Township, including his ex-girlfriend.
Sumpter Township Police arrived at a home on Martinsville near Wear Road Saturday to find two men and two women dead with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the press release.
All of the victims were in their thirties.
Investigators tell WWJ the ex-boyfriend of one of the victims, Raymond Bailey, 37, of Sumpter Township called and texted several people, confessing to the murders. Police learned he fled up North, possibly to the Upper Peninsula.
Detectives found Bailey’s car abandoned near Bay City.
A Michigan State Police Forensic Division Crime Response Team is also assisting in the investigation.
Bailey is described as 6'0" and 170 lbs.
