DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit-based actor and musician Phil Elam and the I See You Awards are partnering to help provide much-needed financial assistance to organizations focused on helping those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.  They're raising funds that will be donated to Forgotten Harvest, which has seen the demand for food rise significantly due to the coronavirus.

Elam spoke live with WWJ's Midday Anchor Brooke Allen, along with Terri Lee, WWJ's midday producer and film critic, who founded the I See You Awards in 2017 to recognize and reward the accomplishments of independent filmmakers.

Visit Spotify to stream Elam's song, "With You All the Way."  Elam is donating 100-percent of the proceeds from this song to Forgotten Harvest.

Visit the I See You Awards to support Forgotten Harvest with your purchase.  The I See You Awards is donating 50-percent of all profits from merchandise purchased from their site to Forgotten Harvest.
