(WWJ) A Detroit family is yearning for the safe return of their teenage daughter and granddaughter.
Police say Deshila Pinkston, 14, left home on Conner near Jefferson around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday after "getting frustrated with her homework."
Her grandmother tried to follow her inside a car but lost sight of Deshila as the teen walked toward a vacant lot on Algonquin Street.
Deshila vanished wearing a black and white striped shirt with red roses on it, blue jeans, black Nike gym shoes, carrying a cheetah print bag.
If you have seen Deshila or know where she is, please call Detroit Police Department's Fifth Precinct Investigative Unit at 313-596-5540 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up.
