Detroit police are asking for tips from the public to help find the 47-year-old woman, who was last seen Tuesday, Sept. 1, at around 1 p.m.
It was reported that Brooks waked away from her home, 17500 block of Ardmore St., near W. Outer Dr., just west of the Lodge Freewat, and has not returned.
Brooks is described as a Black female, 5'7" tall and weighing around 185 lbs., with a dark complexion and brown eyes. She was wearing a dark colored wig.
He clothing at the time of her disappearance is unknown, but she may be carrying two plastic bags, police said.
Police noted that Brooks has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and takes medication.
